Thelma’s is love. 💕 As connoisseurs of ice cream sandwiches, Jeff and I were so excited to find @thelmastreats in our local grocery store! Especially since we’ve been experiencing some Spring-like weather recently!

Jeff and I did an ice cream sandwich taste test together & loved every second of it.

Here’s all the flavors we tried:

My top pick was the Strawberry Sugar Cookie & Jeff loved the Monster Cookie!

2024 is here (realizing it’s already the 9th) an

2024 is here (realizing it’s already the 9th) and I already know it’s going to be one heck of a year! Though my main focus is on taking care of myself physically and mentally as I prepare to become a mama to a little human baby, I have some other small side goals I want to work towards and lots to look forward to this year.

With that said, my word of the year for 2024 is Growth!

This first half of this new year is about experiencing new things in the next two trimesters of my pregnancy and becoming a mother. In the most obvious sense, 2024 will be a year of growth for my family. My focus on growth refers to the physical, mental, and spiritual growth that I will experience throughout that process.

I want to focus on activities that will allow my baby to develop into a healthy and happy human.

I want to focus on actions that allow me to become a more centered, nurturing, and low-stress individual.

I want to prioritize activities that make room for my marriage to evolve into a stronger bond centered on partnership, mutual respect, and love.

In order to foster growth, I need to recognize and prune any habits that no longer serve me and contribute to outcome. I am looking forward to growth (however big) in all areas of my life including;
* Personal growth
* Family growth
* Relationship growth
* Financial growth
* Professional growth

Don’t mistake these side goals and statements for resolutions. These are little things I would like to accomplish, as they’re either things I enjoy doing or are activities that will make me the best version of myself in the moment! If I don’t quite read 24 books, no biggie. If I only get through 4 Master Classes instead of 6, I’m going to celebrate that as a win just the same. It’s all about doing what feels good for myself and my family and being conscious of everything I’m learning and experiencing along the way!

Thanks to @sunshinewithsavannah and @sweatytearsofjoy for the inspiration for the approach to low stress, no pressure side quests or goals for the year!

2023 was a wonderful year, full of many highs and

2023 was a wonderful year, full of many highs and a few lows.

Jeff and I celebrated our first year of marriage. Though not much has changed since before we got married, being together for over 11 years does that to you, we still had to show up for ourselves and each other and our relationship every day.

Our journey to buying our first home lasted only a few months, but it was filled with lots of emotions - both excitement and disappointment. Ultimately, it was all worth it as we found the perfect home for our current stage of life!

And our journey to expecting our first child brought a lot of joy, but it was a longer road than I expected. Trying for over a year, lots of negative pregnancy tests, lots of ovulation tracking, a meeting with our OB to discuss fertility treatments, fertility teas, and lots of research on increasing your chances of conception. All led to a positive pregnancy test (or three) at the absolute perfect time. I know our journey wasn’t as long and difficult as other couples have had to go through, and we recognize how blessed we are.

Plus, all of the wonderful memories traveling, trying new things, and gathering with our family and friends!

Cheers to 2024 and all of the changes, growth, and experiences to come.

🤍 Continuing to make our house a home
🤍 Lots of weddings & celebrations

And of the little things in between!
