With Fall’s impending return, I am looking forward to the changing of the leaves, bringing boots and light jackets back into my life, and the return of Green Bay Packer football. Being a Packers fan for my entire life, green and gold have long been apart of my color choices in my wardrobe for the Fall and Winter months. When I’m not sporting a jersey, my striped overalls, or any number of Victoria’s Secret PINK shirts from the NFL collection, I am looking for ways to incorporate this palette into my wardrobe in a bit less conspicuous way. I always love incorporating gold accents into my outfits, whether it’s jewelry, sandals or flats, or the gold sequin detailing on one of my favorite shirts. With the new addition of this olive green light jacket to my closet, I have the perfect outfit to rep my team without the need to wear a big G when it might not be appropriate. Though, in Wisconsin, there’s rarely a time when donning your Packer apparel isn’t appropriate. I’m simply taking a page out of the female football fanbases of the South in their stylish approach to gameday fashion.
