I typically consider myself a person who doesn’t have an addictive personality – I enjoyed the music of both the Backstreet Boys and N’Sync back in the day, I love dark chocolate but I don’t need to eat it everyday, and though I do have a few shows I watch religiously I don’t need to organize my schedule around it (because I can stream it later, obviously). But this Fall (and past Fall seasons) may be making me realize this might not be as true as I thought. My addiction – merlot, oxblood, burgundy, and any other deep red tones that Pantone can provide.
The latest piece in one of these shades that I’ve added to my closet is this beautiful velvet blazer from the LCRunway Collection at Kohl’s. There’s so many great ways to incorporate this color into your wardrobe this season and this velvet blazer is so on trend, it hurts. Paired with black skinny jeans and heels, plus black and gold jewelry with diamond embellishments, it’s sophisticated and fun. I can’t wait to style this piece in a new, fun ways yet this season!
