I can’t believe that it’s been over a week since election day. With all of the negativity that’s come out of both parties since that day, I am working hard to remain positive and hopeful for the future of our great country. I am extremely proud to be an American, despite the struggles that our country has faced in accepting and celebrating diversity, remaining a role model for all nations, and providing support to the groups who need it most. Without getting too much into politics, every American’s lives changed that day, and I’m hopeful it’s all for the better!
When I got out to the polls early in the AM on that day, I couldn’t help but do so in my favorite buffalo plaid button-up from Draper James and the most comfortable jeans in my closet, my 501’s. I love the almost-boyfriend-fit of these jeans and the dark wash! To my great pleasure, these 501’s now have stretch, which make them even more enjoyable to wear. Add a pair of booties at the bottom and diamond studs at the top, and it’s a perfect outfit for election day or any day. My favorite accessory for the day, of course, was my right to vote!
xoxo,
ellie A.
