In case you didn’t know or if this is your first time checking out my blog, I am in love with the color pink. I find that it looks great with my hair color, complements my skin tone, and generally just makes me happy. When I find great pieces that fit like a glove, match my style to a tee, and also come in pink , then I believe I’ve hit the jackpot!
This jacket from Express was one such find! It’s wool so it’s perfect for Winter, it’s moto detailing adds a little edge which I love, and it’s a beautiful shade of pink that pairs well with so many existing styles in my closet! Paired with jeans – dark or light – or black pants and I’m ready to go!
I opted to pair my jacket with a gray sweater, lighter pink & silver scarf, dark blue jeans, my go-to metallic wedges, and my favorite Kate Spade purse. That’s another thing I can’t seem to leave the house without, a little bit of sparkle and shine! The scarf, necklace, top, and shoes all add a little bit of sparkle and bring out the silver detailing on the jacket.
I love all of the smiles and I know it was because on this Saturday, I was currently headed to Colectivo to grab a cappuccino and then off to see great friends and celebrate a birthday! This outfit was just dressy enough to feel good going to the party while still maintaining my comfort and sense of style!
I added a pop of pink to my pout and some loose curls in my hair for an extra dose of femininity!
