It may be March but that doesn’t mean that the twinkling lights and the wintry greens need to be put away for the season! Same goes for adding pops of red and shiny deep burgundy to my outfits! When the temps are frigid, I plan my winter looks to be cozy, comfortable, and of course, cute! And I don’t believe that any of those are mutually exclusive!
I love this dark metallic red pleated skirt from the LC Lauren Conrad Runway Collection! It’s so cute and versatile – I’ve worn it with and without tights, depending on the time of year. And I love mixing and matching it with gray and black and navy! Thanks to my turtleneck sweater, BB Dakota poncho, and ankle booties, the first outfit has a little bit of everything! I finished it off with silver pendent necklace and clutch!
If you know me, you know that I love my denim jackets! I have my go-to worn-in, vintage-looking denim jacket that I live in during the Spring/Summer, a white one I toss around for good measure, and in Fall/Winter, I love this washed black one! I replaced the poncho in this second look with a fab denim jacket on a warmer day for a little less of that “I’m wearing a blanket and I don’t care who knows it” vibe and more of the “I’m loving living in layers of denim, metallic, and cozy sweaters” vibe.
I don’t know about you, but I’d say mission was accomplished!
