It’s so crazy for me to think that just a few weeks ago, I embarked on the journey of redesigning my blog and building out my website. I have had this project in the back of my mind for some time now and I finally got the drive, the time (kind of), and the motivation to do it. I was on a mission to give my blog a much needed facelift, while relying on my own creativity, ingenuity, and desire to learn new things. Thankfully, I didn’t need too much coding experience to bring my vision to life, just a lot of photoshop skills, a working knowledge of WordPress, and the ability to Google any of the tasks I didn’t previously know how to do or answer the questions I previously couldn’t answer. Tada, here we are.
One of the first steps is completing the website redesign was deciding whether to continue with my current branding, or give my logos a facelift as well. To me, it felt like this redesign project was the perfect time to reevaluate my blog, my brand, and where I see it going in the future. One thing I knew for sure is that I wanted to combine all of my passions into my website – blogging, fashion & shopping, travel, creativity, design, reading, etc. I want this website to be a representation of what’s important to me and what’s going on in my life, whether that’s from a personal or professional standpoint.
With that said, I’ve rebranded my digital marketing persona as Leena Emily Creative and have chosen to use that logo as the primary mark throughout the website. Whether it’s in writing, content creation, marketing, or designing, this website is a collection of my creative work. That’s why I felt it was the perfect representation for the website.
So what’s happening to Life Styled by Leena? The answer to that is easy – nothing. Blogging about and sharing my love of fashion, personal style, reading, etc. will continue to fall under this part of the brand and will include this logo!
When it comes down to it, this website is my little corner of the internet that I want to feel like is a complete, authentic, and unapologetic representation of me and my life. I am continuing on my mission to live a styled, well-designed, and creative life, and I want to continue to inspire others to do the same. Though my personal style or life might not be for everyone, if I’m able to inspire one person to be a more confident, a more open, or a truer version of themselves, this was all worth it. Because that’s my goal as I travel along this journey of life.
As I finish up this project, and continue to look for new opportunities to learn and express my creativity, I want to thank you for being here and supporting me. If there’s any way that I can help or support you, I sincerely hope that you let me know! Thank you again for being here and be on the lookout for some new blogs and content coming your way!
